About the Author
Sahai started writing at a very young age, using stories as a way to express her feelings. What started as a journal entry in her 3rd grade class would eventually charm her entire school district.
The book, My Loveable Little Monster , came from the truest place a story can come from: her actual, real-life, meatball-stealing, wall-coloring, always-wins-at-wrestling little sister. What started as a young girl processing a very big feeling — new baby, whole world rearranged — turned into a story about what it actually means to love someone who's completely different from you, and completely like you, at the same time.
These days, the author is all grown up and is a director, actor, and singer in community theater productions. She works closely as a Behavioral Technician with children who need additional support. She's also pursuing her Master's degree in teaching.
Her hope is to keep promoting literacy and the arts, one loveable little monster at a time!
